October Newsletter

We have had a wonderful start to our school year! We are learning new songs and finger plays, getting to know each other, and making new friends. The children did a great job and really enjoyed sharing their “All About Me” collages!!! Thank you parents for all the hard work!!
During this month we will have fun with pumpkins, spiders, and begin looking for signs of fall. With Halloween approaching we will also be talking about “real” and “pretend”.
We will introduce:

Letters D, E, and F
Color: Orange
Shape: Square
Numbers: 3 and 4
During circle we will continue to work on sitting, being a good listener, and following directions!

Scholastic book orders are due on Friday Oct. 10th. I was able to add several new books to our class library from last month’s orders!! Thank you! As a reminder, you may order online or send a check to school, made out to Scholastic, with your order form.
